1.      Job title: Manager - Human Resources

2.      Function: Human Resources

4.      Reports to: Factory Manager

5.      Location: Haridwar

6.      Role Summary:  As Factory HR Manager of ITC’s Personal Care Business, manage the ER and HR at the factory to leverage the potential of human resources for higher productivity, greater quality and cost consciousness and harmonious industrial relations.

 

7.      Principal duties and responsibilities:

a.      To anchor key HR processes such as: Statutory Compliance, Workforce planning, Recruitment & Selection, Wage Administration, Performance Management, HR Budget Management, Capability Building & Development, Reports & Compliances, Employee Engagement, Welfare & Communication, Employee Discipline, Exit Management, Contract Labour Management

b.      To ensure a gender diverse workforce and align factory culture & systems to enable the same

c.      To drive a performance-driven culture at the unit for operational deliveries

d.      To develop cordial harmonious industrial relations for greater operational effectiveness, and drive change management initiatives for driving business goals

e.      To identify potential people related issues and visualize alternate scenarios for those issues

f.       To proactively and positively liaise with local statutory and government authorities as well as environment and build stakeholder relations, including driving CSR efforts in the area

g.      To anchor OD interventions for managers in the Unit

 

8.      Role Requirements:

a.      Education/Qualification:

Professional qualification (post-graduate) in Human Resources / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Labour & Social Welfare from a recognized University

 

b.      Experience:

                                          i.     5 to 6 years’ experience of handling HR/IR roles in manufacturing unit, preferably FMCG

                                         ii.     Experience of handling gender-diverse workforce will be preferable

                                        iii.     Experience in the West Bengal /Eastern region will be preferable
