As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service, team efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Unit Description

Delaware North purchased the historic Boston Garden in 1975 and later constructed its successor, TD Garden, and neighboring The Hub on Causeway, both of which we continue to own and operate. As New England’s largest sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden is the home of the storied NHL’s Boston Bruins and NBA’s Boston Celtics franchises and hosts over 200 events annually with over 3.5 million visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager to coordinate all restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier service and efficiency
  • Schedule and assign tasks to service and kitchen teams, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Lead and support team training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Ensure policies and procedures are upheld, providing leadership that inspires exemplary guest service
  • Foster a culture of positive guest relations by addressing concerns proactively and professionally
  • Assist with administrative duties, including ordering supplies, inventory management, and financial oversight
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by management to ensure smooth operations and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a similar upscale dining environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Certifications required: ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and ServSafe Alcohol
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&Ls, budgeting, and inventory management
  • Previous experience with new restaurant operations, including training, motivating, and implementing systems, policies, and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication skills, anticipating both guest and team needs, and exemplifying the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility, and leadership
  • Proven team player with the ability to lead by example and support your team in all aspects of restaurant management
  • Experience managing large-scale restaurants is a plus
