We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sommelier to join our team at 67 Pall Mall.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Junior Sommelier to join the founding location of the 67 Pall Mall Members’ Club, located in the heart of London’s St. James’s. 67 Pall Mall is a Private Members’ Club, founded by wine lovers, for wine lovers, and is home to the finest wine list in the world.
We are seeking a vibrant individual to join our Sommelier team on a full-time basis. Led by our Head of Wine London, Federico Moccia, this is an opportunity to work amongst some of the finest sommeliers in the world, taste exceptional wines as you work, and be involved in events with key industry figures and producers.
Our wine offering is second to none, with a Membership of dedicated wine lovers who are passionate about discovering their next exciting glass and learning more about what goes into it. Our Sommeliers are at the forefront of facilitating that journey.
As a Junior Sommelier, your duties will include:
• Assist Senior Sommeliers and Managers in the
service and daily operations of 67 Pall Mall, ensuring impeccable service for
our Members at all times
• Follow daily opening and closing procedures
• Ensure the mise en place of both the Lounge and Clubroom is fully operational
for service
• Attend and actively contribute to service briefings
• Support the senior wine team with pre- and post-service duties
• Execute day-to-day wine and food service for Members and their guests
• Assist with private and Club events, ensuring the highest service standards
are maintained
• Act as an ambassador of the Club by building and maintaining strong
relationships with Members, suppliers, and winemakers
• Help maintain consistently high levels of service across the Club
• Work exclusively with Zalto
glassware, ensuring careful handling
at all times
• Take food orders when required and ensure correct timing between food and
wine service, working closely with the restaurant team to deliver a seamless
dining experience
• Develop knowledge of the Club’s food offering to confidently advise Members
on food and wine pairings
