DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for successful direction, administration and coordination of all activities of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:
- Provide supervision of front desk staff. Train, counsel, and provide feedback to Manager regarding staffing, hires, corrective actions, performance evaluations, attendance, and separations
- Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Plan work schedules to ensure maximum Guest service.
- Facilitate the flow of information throughout the property by organizing, facilitating, and attending regularly scheduled meetings with team and other hotel departments.
- Review various reports, identifying potential misinformation and/or conflicts, and reporting to appropriate individuals.
- Analyze service and general operations for the front desk daily, giving feedback and offering directions as needed.
- Tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations with Guests and Team Members to identify effective resolutions.
- Ensure all support duties and responsibilities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
- Required Education: HS DIPLOMA Preferred Education: N/A
- Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Additional education and/or related work experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have basic computer knowledge with Microsoft Office programs.
- Must possess effective communication (verbal and written) skills in English. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- OPERA PMS system experience a plus.

- Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
- Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
