🎯 Your Mission
As a Sommelier, you’ll be the wine expert for our guests, delivering personalized recommendations, managing the wine program and supporting our culinary and service teams to create exceptional dining experiences.
📌 What You’ll Do
• Curate and maintain the wine list in line with restaurant and brand standards
• Guide guests through wine selections, pairing recommendations, and tasting experiences
• Serve wine professionally, ensuring correct temperature, presentation, and service etiquette
• Manage wine inventory, stock levels, and cellar organization
• Assist in purchasing and sourcing high-quality wines
• Train and mentor restaurant staff on wine knowledge and service standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to enhance menu and wine pairings
• Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively respond to feedback
• Maintain all wine-related equipment and storage areas to the highest standards
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Hard Rock values and culture
💡 What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Sommelier or in fine dining wine service
• Formal wine certification preferred (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of international and local wine varietals
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Confidence in recommending, upselling, and serving wine to luxury standards
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred
• Professional appearance and warm, approachable personality
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
