JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all facets of the Pastry department. Supervises and coordinates all activities in preparation of deserts, pastries, cakes etc. for Atlantic City region within Caesars Entertainment. NJ CER REQUIRED.

**Atlantic City Operations
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for checking the daily desert menus, assigning work loads accordingly and writing requisitions for food portions to fill the needs for the Atlantic City region.
Responsible for all preparation work done in the Pastry shop.
Ensures all deserts, cakes and pastry arrangements are palatable and delicious.
Constantly coordinates with Chefs to create the most efficient dishes.
Presents exemplary artistic culinary techniques with food presentation.
Utilizes all by-products in the kitchen by making them into special dishes to conserve food costs.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work environment.
Abides by city and state health department codes.
Ability to coach, train and develop the Pastry staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of a culinary school preferred. Minimum three years experience as a Pastry Chef.

Fast paced, hot and steamy environment, extremely demanding, flex scheduling based on demands.
