Introduction

We are recruiting an Executive Pastry Chef for a 5-star island resort in the Maldives. This senior role leads the pastry operation and develops creative, high-end dessert offerings.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pastry team and daily operations
  • Design and develop innovative pastry and dessert menus
  • Ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation
  • Manage ordering, stock control and cost management
  • Train, mentor and develop junior pastry staff

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Senior-level pastry experience in luxury hotels/resorts
  • Proven experience leading a pastry team
  • Strong creativity in dessert and pastry menu development
  • Excellent
  • knowledge of food safety and HACCP
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
  • Good English proficiency
