Consistency of service is paramount in delivering the desired experience, from the minute they pick up the phone to make a reservation, to the minute they return to their car.

We’re looking for a candidate who can help shape and execute a menu inspired by the local terroir, in collaboration with ownership and the F.O.H. management team. With access to hundreds of acres of farmland in Rhode Island and Connecticut—including an organic farm just seven miles away—there’s a great opportunity to create a seasonal dining experience for our guests, both during regular service and special culinary events.
The Position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following areas:
• Food cost (to be documented for ownership at a monthly P&L meeting)
• Labor cost (to be documented through scheduling and daily / weekly monitoring) Assist in
planning and executing events / other food-related elements of the complex (breakfast, brunch,
wedding dinners, retreats, etc.) including collaborative chef dinners & additional programming
• Growth of Food & Bar Related revenue
• Execution of menus and creation of daily additions
• Sourcing / developing relationships with local producers, farmers, and chefs
• Vendors sheets, inventories (monthly) and ordering
• Consistency of product
• Adherence to D.O.H. guidelines / regulations along with cleanliness of kitchen
• Building and training of B.O.H. personnel (including paperwork, discipline, etc.)
• Assist in building and training of F.O.H. personnel (including paperwork, discipline, etc.)
• Education & mentorship of all staff
• Participation in weekly F.O.H. / B.O.H. management meetings
• Equipment maintenance
• Work along creative team for culinary social media content and marketing purposes
Reporting Relationship
Internal: The Executive Chef reports directly to the General Manager.
