Our client, a Facilities Management Catering Company in Tanzania is in search of an Executive Chef.
The role will be on a Fixed Term Contract of 12 months subject to review.
The role will be based at a client site.
1. Manage all aspects of food production, including menu development, food purchase specifications, recipes, food storage, and preparations.
2.Supervise the kitchen staff, develop and monitor budgets for food and labor. 3.Ensure the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards are maintained.
4.Perform skilled cooking duties and coordinate services to uphold high-quality standards in food production and service.
5.Menu planning and maintain quality standards
6.Inventory ordering
7.Financial management
8.People Management and staff training (kitchen team)
10+ years experience in a similar or same role
Experience in Facilities Management Industry pertaining to Catering, a nice to have
Valid Passport
Qualifications in Catering, Food, Health and Safety, Hospitality etc
Able to be based in Tanzania
MUST have worked in Africa before and MUST have worked in a camp environment
1700-2000 $ per month
