Key Responsibilities:
Timely and Safe Deliveries: Pick up, transport, and deliver packages, groceries, food items, or other goods to designated customer locations within specified timeframes.
Route Optimization: Plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes using GPS or maps to ensure prompt deliveries.
Package Handling: Handle all items with care to prevent damage during transit, loading, and unloading.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including polite communication, addressing minor queries, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
Payment Collection (if applicable): Collect cash payments or process digital payments from customers accurately and securely, and maintain proper transaction records.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs, track delivery statuses, and report any issues or delays to the supervisor promptly.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks of the delivery vehicle (two-wheeler preferred), ensure it is well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues. Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
Problem Solving: Efficiently handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays, difficult-to-locate addresses, or customer issues, and escalate to management when necessary.
Adherence to Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures related to delivery, safety, and customer service.
