The Commis Chef – Western Cuisine will support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing high-quality Western dishes for a luxury private estate. The candidate will be responsible for food preparation, station upkeep, and maintaining the highest hygiene and presentation standards as expected in a luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking Western-style dishes as per menu and client preferences.

  • Follow recipe standards, presentation guidelines, and portion control.

  • Ensure all mise en place is ready before service.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.

  • Work under the direction of senior chefs to support smooth kitchen operations.

  • Properly store food and ingredients, ensuring freshness and FIFO principles.

  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP protocols.

  • Cooperate with the rest of the kitchen team for seamless service.



Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Western cuisine including sauces, meats, and plating techniques.

  • Knife handling and basic butchery skills.

  • High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Basic English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to relocate and work full-time in Riyadh.

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work in a private luxury household.

  • Flexible and professional demeanor.
