Job Title: Commi 1


Job Summary

The Commi 1 will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and assisting with training and direction for kitchen staff. They will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in working with restaurants or hotels and hold a degree in Hotel Management or a related field. A strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations is required. Additionally, they must be skilled in Indian/Continental/Pizza & Pantry/Tandoor/Asian + Dim sum cuisines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to Head Chef and manage kitchen staff in their absence
  • Ensure kitchen is according to company’s operational and financial standards
  • Exceed guest expectations while maintaining PAP standards
  • Assist Sous Chef in training staff for production according to company kitchen standards
  • Manage inventory and food production planning on a daily basis
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI standards and daily preparation of Mize N Place

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods in their respective cuisine, with cooking temperatures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Pune, Maharashtra
  • High speed with excellent taste factor
