Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior-level Captain for Captains Table Restaurant at StayBird in Pune. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in customer service, possess strong conflict resolution skills, and be adept with point-of-sale systems. Qualifications and Skills

  • customer service excellence with a focus on creating outstanding guest experiences (mandatory skill)
  • proficiency in using point-of-sale systems efficiently to manage orders and transactions (mandatory skill)
  • competency in resolving conflicts and managing customer complaints with tact and professionalism (mandatory skill)
  • in-depth understanding of food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a hygienic dining environment
  • experience in dining room management to ensure seamless service and coordination
  • ability to schedule staff effectively to maintain optimal service levels during various shifts
  • skills in inventory management for efficient stock control and ordering processes
  • capability to plan and develop appealing menus in collaboration with the culinary team


Roles and Responsibilities

  • oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience for all guests
  • train and supervise restaurant staff to uphold service standards and maintain a welcoming environment
  • collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
  • address and resolve guest concerns effectively, fostering positive customer relationships
  • manage staff scheduling to accommodate business needs and ensure balanced coverage
  • assist in the development and execution of special promotions and menu items
  • conduct regular inspections of the dining area to maintain cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations
  • contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing timely orders
