Cocktail Bartender

A Cocktail Bartender is responsible for creating alcoholic drinks and providing them to guests in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure and bar regulations.

What will I be doing?

As a Cocktail Bartender, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Creating drinks and preparing and serving a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, pouring drinks, and ensuring that are served promptly

• Exceptional knowledge about the menu in Bellini Bar

   

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other bar essentials

   

• Taking guest orders and cash handling

   

• Assist the team on the floor when necessary

   

• Providing cocktail mixology classes

   

• Providing exceptional customer service by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food & drinks menu's and readiness to explain and recommend food & beverage contents

   

• Managing a variety of customer types, inquiries, and complaints

What are we looking for?

A Cocktail Bartender serving Hilton Brand Hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• 1+ years' experience as a Cocktail Bartender in a hotel environment

   

• Excellent understanding of cocktail recipes 

   

• Friendly, positive, energetic and commitment 

   

• Fulltime and flexible availability and reliable - able to do at least 4 closing shifts per week and available during weekends and public holidays

   

• Knowledge of beverages including coffee, beer, spirit, and wine 

   

• Experience in POS ordering systems and cash handling

   

• A good understanding of wine, its service and recommendations to guests

   

• Good English communication skills

It will be beneficial if you maintain the following:

• Completed a Bartender course, e.g., EBS

• Previous work experience within a 5-star hotel environment
