Prepare, present, and serve food promptly in line with agreed company standards
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with statutory and company policies
Ensure food production remains within budget, with strict control of raw materials and waste
Present dishes attractively and consistently to enhance customer appeal
Adhere to all health and safety legislation, ensuring the safety of colleagues and customers
Safeguard all food and beverage stock within the production area
Stay up to date with modern culinary techniques and industry advancements
Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, including counter service when required
Uphold a professional image at all times, including correct uniform standards
Assist with special functions, events, and services outside normal working hours when required
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and report incidents such as accidents, losses, or food safety issues
Attend meetings, training sessions, and carry out reasonable overtime when needed
Train and mentor new team members on kitchen procedures and standards
Perform any reasonable tasks as assigned by management
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef
Strong pastry section experience is essential
Ability to prepare a wide range of baked goods including cakes, breads, pastries, pies, and desserts
Experience with both traditional and modern pastry techniques
Creative flair to develop new and exciting desserts and menu items
Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices
Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
