Chef de Cuisine - Tom's by Tom Aikens
Responsibilities:
- Culinary Leadership: Oversee and assist the culinary staff in all aspects of food production
- Menu Innovation: Implement seasonal and creative menus together with Michelin star rated chef and collaborate with him in all aspects of standards, quality and consistency.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train the kitchen staff for development and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Manage culinary budgets, control food and labor costs, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, efficiency and effectiveness, and monitor HACCP to ensure procedures are properly carried out.
- Guest Experience: Collaborate with service team to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Local citizen and expatriate are welcome
- Proven experience as Chef de Cuisine or long experienced as Sous Chef in high-end culinary leadership role, preferably in a luxury 5 stars hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Demonstrated expertise in various culinary techniques and European cuisines.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Time-management abilities, with a record of accomplishment of managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Good communication skill in English (speaking and writing).
