Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Tillie’s Restaurant, the crown jewel of Camp Lucy Resort, is seeking a passionate and driven Chef de Cuisine to lead a section of our kitchen with excellence, creativity, and integrity. Our restaurant is known for crafting unforgettable dining experiences that fuse world-class cuisine with the natural beauty and soulful energy of our historic Hill Country property.
About the Role
As Chef de Cuisine, you will be a critical leader within our culinary team, managing a key area of our kitchen while upholding the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. You will be instrumental in training and inspiring junior chefs, ensuring a seamless kitchen operation, and contributing to the continued evolution of our innovative, globally inspired menu.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage a specific kitchen station with precision and consistency
- Prepare and execute dishes in accordance with Tillie’s standards of excellence
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient workstation at all times
- Work aside the F&B Director on menu development and daily specials
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are met consistently
- Work efficiently under pressure while meeting service deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role within a high-end or fine dining kitchen
- Formal culinary training or equivalent professional experience
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities
- High standards for cleanliness, organization, and detail
- Creative flair and a passion for delivering unforgettable culinary experiences
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
