Job Title: Head Chef – Urban Spa & Restaurant Project (Casual Nordic Cuisine)

Salary: €45,000 gross per year

Job Description:
We are looking for an operational Head Chef to lead the kitchen team for a new concept that combines a modern spa with an urban casual Nordic restaurant. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in kitchen operations, team management, and organization — we are not looking for someone to bring their own culinary concept, but rather to ensure smooth operations and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to standards.

  • Lead and coordinate a team of 3-4 staff members, maintaining a well-structured workflow.

  • Oversee food production, timing, and station organization.

  • Control inventory, ordering, product rotation, and cost management.

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).

  • Implement procedures to optimize performance and maintain consistency in dishes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Chef (or equivalent senior role) in high-volume restaurants or casual/urban dining concepts.

  • Hands-on, operational profile with excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to manage a small team (3-4 people).

  • Knowledge of cost control, menu costing, and supplier management.

  • Passion for quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

  • Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
