Job Overview

StayBird is seeking a dedicated Assistant Chef for our Pune location. This is a full-time, mid-level position suitable for individuals with 4 to 6 years of experience in the culinary field. The ideal candidate will assist the head chef in kitchen management and contribute to the seamless operation of our kitchen. Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to ensure efficiency in kitchen operations.
  • Strong understanding of production planning to streamline kitchen workflow.
  • Expertise in Kaizen to implement continuous improvement in culinary practices.
  • Competence in quality assurance to maintain high standards of food service and safety.
  • Experience in supply chain management to manage inventory and procurement effectively.
  • Capability to drive process optimization to enhance kitchen performance and reduce waste.
  • Passion for continuous improvement to innovate and adapt new cooking techniques.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the head chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee kitchen staff in their delegated responsibilities.
