Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes before serving.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- Proactively share knowledge and assist in training junior kitchen staff.
- Continuously explore and implement new cooking techniques and recipes.
- Engage with guests to receive feedback and adjust dishes as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
- Basic education required.
- Male candidates preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with Maldivian-style cooking is essential.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking styles and methods.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 2 years of experience working in a kitchen.
- Experience in a similar culinary role is an added advantage.
