Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell?

The incumbent is responsible for directing and managing the work of housekeeping staff and officers. S/he assigns work duties, evaluates performance, and train new personnel in policies and procedures, as well as operations of cleaning and maintenance equipment.

Your passion is:

• Adhere to the company standards regarding dress and appearance
• Extend appropriate greeting to all guests at every opportunity
• Ensure guest are familiar with their cabin facilities
  • Lights
  • Air-conditioning
  • Hot water
  • Coffee machine
  • Safety vault
  • Paging system,++
• Report and follow up on all maintenance issues
• Ensure all cabins are serviced everyday according to the standards of the company
• Respond to all guest request
• Advise immediately any guest challenges to Housekeeping Supervisor
• Ensure public areas and furniture are kept clean
• Ensure daily inspection off all guest mattresses, request replacement where Adhere to mattress turning guidelines.
• Ensure hallway and guests cabin’s floor is maintained in good order
• Ensure that all equipment is properly stored
• Ensure that all in guest cabin beverage services are followed
• Ensure that food service chinaware is removed from the guest cabin in a prompt manner and returned to the designated area (in no circumstances it should be stored on the floor)
• Adhere to all safety and operational instructions when handling chemicals
• Control and issue safety deposit box keys (where applicable)
• Luggage delivery and related duties
• Administer departmental paperwork & report procedures
• Participate at all other functions as directed by the Housekeeping Supervisor

What are we looking for?

• High school or relevant courses

• Minimum of 3 years of experience

• Strong leadership and team management skills 

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in House Keeping
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
