Job Summary:

We are hiring a Bakery/Pastry Chef to join our team at a coffee shop in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, croissants, and desserts while ensuring high quality and presentation standards. The role requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of bakery and pastry production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of bakery and pastry items including breads, croissants, and desserts.

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.

  • Assist in inventory management and maintain adequate stock levels.

  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

  • Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and appearance of products.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a bakery or pastry role.

  • Proven expertise in preparing breads, croissants, and assorted desserts.

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen operations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.

  • Culinary certification or diploma is preferred.

Employment Terms:

  • Salary: OMR 250 – 300 per month (based on experience)

  • Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week

  • Overtime: As per company policy

  • Contract Period: 2 years, renewable

  • Accommodation: Provided by employer

  • Transport: Provided by employer

  • Medical Insurance: Provided by employer

  • Food: Managed by candidate

  • Nationality: Open to all, except Hindu candidates (as per employer preference)

  • Eligible Nationalities: Indian, Any
