We are hiring a Bakery/Pastry Chef to join our team at a coffee shop in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, croissants, and desserts while ensuring high quality and presentation standards. The role requires hands-on experience and a strong understanding of bakery and pastry production.
Prepare a variety of bakery and pastry items including breads, croissants, and desserts.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
Assist in inventory management and maintain adequate stock levels.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and appearance of products.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a bakery or pastry role.
Proven expertise in preparing breads, croissants, and assorted desserts.
Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production timelines.
Culinary certification or diploma is preferred.
Salary: OMR 250 – 300 per month (based on experience)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week
Overtime: As per company policy
Contract Period: 2 years, renewable
