The Bakery Chef will oversee all bakery operations and deliver high-quality artisanal baked goods with premium presentation that aligns with Fashion TV Café’s luxury brand standards.
Plan and execute a diverse range of bakery items including breads, pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, and specialty baked products.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, portioning, and visual presentation.
Develop new bakery recipes, seasonal specials, and customized items for events or promotions.
Train, supervise, and guide bakery staff in production techniques, hygiene practices, and product quality.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and FSSAI compliance within the bakery section.
Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of raw materials.
Control food and production costs, minimize wastage, and maintain standard recipes.
Coordinate with management on menu updates, display setups, and special event requirements.
5+ years of professional experience as a Bakery/Pastry Chef in cafés, hotels, or premium bakeries.
Formal training in bakery & pastry (degree/diploma) preferred.
Strong knowledge of breads, pastries, desserts, and modern bakery techniques.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and presentation.
Ability to lead a team, multitask, and perform efficiently under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
