Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant operations at Tenaya Lodge. Unit Description

Tenaya Lodge is a 4-diamond resort located just outside the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Delaware North owns and operates the AAA Four Diamond-rated Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite dating back to 2002. Tenaya is an all-season resort featuring lodge rooms and cottage rooms, 50 Explorer Cabins, a rich range of recreational activities, a luxury spa, ample meeting and event space, indoor and outdoor pools, and five dining venues located on the property. It's located just two miles from Yosemite National Park.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain positive guest relations and high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance and professionalism
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory and oversee scheduling, payroll, and point of sale systems
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations
  • Ability to drive company vehicles on property

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety procedures
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systems
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe Manager, Food Safety Handler, and Responsible Beverage Service certifications
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
