Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate pastries and desserts with precision and creativity
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all pastry ingredients
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of pastry supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
