Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Uniform Linen Attendant to join our hospitality team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Linen Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our guests' linens and textiles.

  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and folding machines
  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, including bedsheets, towels, and tablecloths
  • Inspect linens for stains, tears, or other damage, and take appropriate action
  • Maintain accurate inventory of linens and supplies
  • Perform basic mending and sewing tasks as needed
  • Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean linens
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet linen demands efficiently
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the supervisor
  • Assist in training new team members on linen care procedures

Qualifications

  • Secondary school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred
  • Proficiency in operating laundry equipment and understanding of fabric care techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
  • Basic mending and sewing skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Hospitality certifications are advantageous but not required
  • Basic English language skills are beneficial
