Description
  • Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards.
  • Ensure all dishes meet the resort’s quality, taste, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of freshness for fish and all ingredients.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely preparation before service.
  • Set up and organize the sushi station before each service.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of the workstation at all times.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.
  • Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries, especially fresh seafood.
  • Interact with guests when required (e.g., at sushi bar or live station) in a polite and professional manner.
  • Provide recommendations or explain dishes when requested.
  • Maintain a high level of hospitality consistent with the resort’s service standards.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Comply with the resort’s policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Immediately report any food quality or safety concerns to supervisors.
