- Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure all dishes meet the resort’s quality, taste, and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of freshness for fish and all ingredients.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely preparation before service.
- Set up and organize the sushi station before each service.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of the workstation at all times.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing food deliveries, especially fresh seafood.
- Interact with guests when required (e.g., at sushi bar or live station) in a polite and professional manner.
- Provide recommendations or explain dishes when requested.
- Maintain a high level of hospitality consistent with the resort’s service standards.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines.
- Comply with the resort’s policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Immediately report any food quality or safety concerns to supervisors.
