Job Purpose

• Procurement of F&V in the State through Collection Centre's /Mandi/National sources & its supply to RR Stores within & outside State with optimization in logistics.
• Increase CC/Direct Farmer supplies.
• Monitoring crop status of registered farmers through planned field visits of CC Buyers and basis information Forecast availability.
• Allot indent to CCs basis farmers-level information available regarding - farmers who have cultivated recommended variety and whose fields are free from pests, diseases and defects.
• Linking potential production belts within the States and developing new sourcing locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Viability in procurement cost based on forecasting, seasonality and efficiency within the system.
• Closely Coordination with the product heads and the strategic location in charges for flow of F&V into and from his state.
• Allocate the sourcing plan over the CCs/Mandi/National for optimum flow of Fruits & Vegetables across the state by establishing robust MIS system.
• Forecasting & Planning Process in association with the States.
• Ensure seamless supply chain system from sourcing location to Fresh Food DC.
• Review overall spends and spend analysis reports for logistics.
• Reduce cost of wastage by improving F&V handling practices and optimizing the truck loads.
• Ensure that procurement plans are in place for all demanded SKUs in the State.
• Ensure fill rates- Line and Quantity; Forecasting & Planning Process in association with the States.
• Minimizing Customer Complaints by Sourcing Quality Produce.

1. Delivering 95% & above Line & Quantity Fill Rate at State
2. % Increase in no. of Farmers & Consolidators base to supply Vegetables across all the Formats at CC & Mandi Level.
3. % Reduction in Mandi Buying Share
4. % Increase in in CC Buying Share in Total Procured Volume

Additional KPIs

1. % Increase in No. of Farmers Training Program
2. % Reduction in Declared Purchase Price (DPP) deviation at State Level
3. Drive implementation of ‘Fortnightly Availability Forecast’ in all the Collection Centers of the State
