This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven chef who values craft, consistency, and collaboration at the highest level. About the RoleAs Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Chef De Cuisine to execute a polished, seasonally driven menu while maintaining excellence across daily service, private events, and large-scale banquets. You will play a key role in kitchen leadership, mentoring staff, and upholding the standards of an elevated dining experience. We have fun, grow together, and strive to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone we meet.   Key Responsibilities Assist in leading day-to-day kitchen operations for restaurant service, events, and banquets including being responsible for all opening and closing procedures Ensure consistent execution, presentation, and flavor across all menus Support menu development, tasting, and event-specific culinary planning Supervise, train, and inspire kitchen staff; lead by example during service Maintain food quality, safety, sanitation, and organization standards Manage prep, inventory, and ordering in collaboration with culinary leadership Step into leadership during service in the Chef De Cuisine’s absence Monitors food costs and labor costs Conducts daily walk-through of all walk-in refrigerators, dry storage areas and food lines to ensure rotation, usage, cleanliness and proper sanitization Utilizes specification sheets to prepare daily preparation requirements, maintains par levels of necessary items Responsible for team maintenance of grooming standards   What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in an upscale or fine-dining setting Strong background in high-volume events and banquet execution Excellent leadership, communication, and time-management skills Calm, professional presence under pressure Must possess excellent business communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries Passion for seasonal ingredients, technique, and elevated presentation Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and events Must be able to perform the duties described, as well as having strong conflict management and negotiation skills A culinary degree and/or equivalent training with 7+ years in industry and 2+years of experience in culinary management in a similar environment Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)   Don’t meet every single requirement?
