Job Description

We are excited to be assisting a high-quality gastropub known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. Located in Wiltshire, this gastropub is continually evolving and is looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join its small but dedicated team.

You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as the Sous Chef...

  • £36,000 per annum plus £1,000 service charge
  • Working 4 days a week, around 43 hours
  • Working alongside a close-knit team of 3 chefs
  • Genuine opportunities for progression to Head Chef for the right person
  • Cooking with fresh, locally sourced ingredients

Responsibilities as the Sous Chef...

  • Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality dishes with precision and care
  • Bringing creativity and passion to the menu as the pub continues to develop
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
  • Helping to lead and motivate a small, skilled team

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious Sous Chef – or a Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career – within a growing gastropub.
