Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the team at our exclusive 5-star resort in Kos, Greece. As a key part of our kitchen team, you will assist the Executive Chef in maintaining the highest culinary standards while leading and managing the kitchen team during shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Leadership: Lead and support the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation, maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.

  • Menu Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Executive Chef in developing, creating, and adjusting menus based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.

  • Training & Development: Mentor and train junior chefs, ensuring their growth and development in the kitchen.

  • Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the resort's standards, with a focus on quality and consistency.

  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.

  • Inventory & Cost Control: Help with inventory management and cost control to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role in high-quality kitchens or resorts.

  • Culinary Skills: Expertise in a range of culinary techniques, with a focus on fine dining and presentation.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment.

  • Attention to Detail: Passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional dishes.
