The culinary staff create exciting and delicious cuisine and, at times, serve foods with an international flair with special themed dinners and parties. Some ingredients are even grown by residents in their hydroponic gardens. As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining culinary service kitchen operations by preparing meals for our dining venues and catered events all while achieving a high degree of resident satisfaction. Implementing menus and supervising food preparation and sanitation in culinary service areas will be part of your responsibilities, as well as managing staff effectively on a daily basis and the overall supervision of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef. This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, working from 12:00pm - 8:30pm. and involves working every other weekend and every other holiday.
