Requirements:
Performs various kitchen duties as required, including but not limited to meal preparations, following recipes, and delivering exceptional food quality to the necessary food cost percentage. All such must be delivered in line with brand standards, ensuring consistency and continuity in providing excellent service to our clients, with a focus on food safety and occupational health and safety. Leads and manages the kitchen brigade by working together to achieve shared business objectives and developing the skills and knowledge of the brigade.
Salary:
R25 000 - 26,500 CTC

Location: JHB East
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Sous Chef.
- Matric.
- Formal degree/diploma in culinary arts or ARPL Test from a reputable institution (MUST have a verifiable certificate to present)
- Computer Literacy is a must (MS Office, etc)
- Experience in a similar field.
- This job requires handling money, so all background checks will be conducted.
- There will be shift work and long hours
- Assist with the management of the kitchen together with the executive chef.
- Maintain and implement hygiene standards.
- Assist with stock-taking.
- Create and maintain recipes.
