Basic Function :
Responsible for ensuring that all customers scan their Skyway boarding tickets at the turnstile before boarding. Assist customers in safely boarding and disembarking the Skyway gondolas at the station or platform.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all customers scan their Skyway boarding tickets at the turnstile before being allowed to board.
- Assist customers during boarding and disembarking from the gondola, including the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
- Provide accurate information and handle customer inquiries courteously and professionally.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or customer complaints immediately to the Supervisor or the Executive on duty.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Assist in implementing contingency plans during emergency Skyway stoppages caused by technical issues, high wind speeds, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Help manage crowd control at the queue lines when necessary.
- Attend daily briefings as scheduled.
- Record passenger counts in the hourly headcount form.
- Ensure a maximum passengers per gondola during peak periods.
- Log stoppages, downtimes, and interval durations of Skyway operations in the stoppage logbook during operating hours.
- Record the gondola sequence numbers in the sequence checklist before 7:00 AM.
- Ensure the cleanliness of gondolas and platform areas throughout the day.
- Check that all operational equipment is returned to its proper location after operating hours.
- Prepare and set up additional queue lines and poles during peak periods as required.
