About the Job:

 

The Sr. Team Lead – Legal Affairs will play a critical role in supporting Almosafer’s operations in Egypt by providing strategic legal counsel, ensuring compliance with Egyptian laws and regulations, and protecting the company’s legal interests. This role involves leading a local legal team, overseeing regulatory compliance, and supporting business initiatives from a legal perspective. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Advise internal stakeholders on matters related to Egyptian civil, commercial, labor and tax laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements and employment contracts.
  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian legal requirements in areas such as corporate governance, licensing, data privacy and employment law.
  • Provide legal risk assessments and practical recommendations aligned with the group’s business strategy in Egypt.
  • Lead, develop and mentor the Egyptian legal team to ensure alignment with company-wide legal standards and ethical practices.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments in Egypt and update management accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the Group Legal team to ensure consistency in legal operations and compliance.

 

Profile Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of progressive legal experience.
  • knowledge of Egyptian commercial, labor, tax and civil laws.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and contract drafting skills in both Arabic and English.
  • High integrity, attention to detail and ability to manage complex legal matters independently.
