Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, MICE, travel trade, and group segments.
  • Conduct daily sales calls, manage key accounts, and execute client presentations.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term client relationships by delivering consistent service excellence.
  • Handle high-value client accounts, resolve escalations, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and account tracking system.
Reporting & Revenue Support:
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and performance to leadership.
  • Work with Revenue and Marketing teams to optimize rate structures and packages.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine sales approach.
Team Collaboration & Compliance:
  • Work closely with hotel operations to ensure guest requirements are met seamlessly.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with IHG brand standards and code of conduct.
  • Contribute to team knowledge by mentoring junior team members where applicable.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven success in hotel sales, preferably within the IHG network.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bengaluru market and key corporate clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Opera/Delphi, and IHG systems (e.g., Concerto, Merlin).
