The Fairmont Hanoi will open in the Vietnamese capital before year end of 2025, making it the first Fairmont brand in the country. The 241-room luxury hotel will take design inspiration from the art of lacquer with the traditional colours of Vietnam, the Indochinese style from the French colonial period, and draws motifs from Vietnam’s dynasties. Fairmont Hanoi is expanding its dynamic Sales team with three dedicated Sales Manager roles — each specializing in one of our key market segments: Corporate, Leisure, and Groups.
Whether it’s building strong relationships with corporate clients, curating memorable travel experiences for leisure guests, or coordinating seamless group stays and events — each role plays a vital part in shaping Fairmont Hanoi’s presence in the market.
This position reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and plays a key role in executing the hotel’s commercial strategy while ensuring brand consistency and service excellence.
Responsibilities:
Identify, solicit, and manage new and existing accounts within the assigned market segment
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed room night and revenue goals
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations to showcase the hotel’s offerings
Maintain regular contact with key clients and decision-makers through meetings, events, and travel trade shows
Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and sales plans as required by the department
Collaborate with other departments (Revenue, Banquets, Front Office) to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded
Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify business opportunities
Uphold brand standards in all client interactions and communications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in hospitality or luxury service environment
Strong understanding of the local and international market landscape (depending on the segment)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems
