Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, team leadership, and market expansion. This role involves developing effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing a team to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the Mumbai region.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives and representatives.
- Identify new business opportunities and key market segments.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on lead generation and branding efforts.
- Ensure CRM and sales reporting systems are up to date and accurate.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of the Mumbai market and local business culture.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel locally as required.
