Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Roving Chef Manager to join the team in the Midlands & Wales . This is a permanent opportunity, you will be required to travel.. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of all catering services.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:

• Train and run kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all activities;
• Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
• Travel to different sites to assist with mobilisations, sickness cover, relief shifts etc
• Select and develop recipes as well as standardise production recipes to ensure quality
• Ensure accurate equipment operation/maintenance and ensures proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
• Stocktaking and placing orders through our systems
• Regularly review performance with each member of the team
• Ensure that training records are maintained
• Check that all supplies are a specified quality and not breaching purchasing policy as outlined by Purchasing
• Supervise portion numbers, control food wastage on site and take appropriate action as the need arises

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems.
• A passion for service and quality
• Full UK driving licence
• Good people leadership skills
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
