Key accountabilities
- Pricing optimization for both short term and long term within comp set and other luxury 5-star hotels to ensure hotel is positioned to maximize revenue and budget goals.
- Monitor pricing decisions generated from Revenue Management System (iDeas).
- Ensure minimal discrepancy between system generated decision and hotel’s expectation.
- Optimize RevPAR by analyzing and forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, optimize market share index and keen sense of market insight on competitors.
- Knowledgeable and familiar with hotel operations, particularly Reservation, Sales and Front Office
- Analyze data and communicate effectively with the sales team and assist in setting pricing decisions and forecasts to optimize inventory and maximize business opportunities.
- Understand key business indicators and competitive trends and provide recommendations to support current sales and revenue strategies while developing sound approach to meet these challenges.
- Support in forecasting and budgeting exercise for room revenue, market share and catering revenue
- Ensure website information on booking engines, both internal and third party is maintained up-to-date and functional (e.g.: bookable and reservation policy is clearly understood)
General Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in this role
- Bachelor's degree or relevant University Qualifications (e.g. Hospitality Management)
- Room Reservations background is preferred
- Excellent English communication skill
