Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our South Indian QSR outlet. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of South Indian cuisine and culture, a knack for fast-paced service environments, and experience leading a team to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Service

  • Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain high levels of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with FSSAI regulations.
  • Ensure timely service and high-quality customer experience at all touchpoints.
  • Monitor food presentation and portion control, especially for traditional items like dosa, idli, vada, etc.

Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate service crew, kitchen staff, and cleaners.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage daily rosters.
  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure team is aligned with service goals and SOPs.
  • Handle grievances, staff discipline, and on-the-job coaching.

Customer Experience

  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure friendly, polite, and culturally sensitive customer interactions.
  • Proactively engage with guests and encourage upselling of combo meals, beverages, and add-ons.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/inventory team for replenishment.
  • Prevent wastage and ensure adherence to portioning standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and returns.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Report daily sales, customer feedback, and staff performance to management.
  • Conduct routine audits on hygiene, stock, and cash handling.
  • Ensure POS systems, billing, and order-taking are followed properly.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory role in a QSR or South Indian restaurant.
  • Education: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Excellent communication in English and Kannada, other South Indian languages will (Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam) will be a bonus.
  • Basic computer literacy (POS, Excel)
  • Understanding of F&B hygiene standards and QSR service models
