Job Description

The Restaurant Partner Ambassador will be the face of our company in the field. This role is crucial for ensuring our brand is consistently and visibly represented across our network of partner restaurants. You will be responsible for visiting our partners, verifying that our official branding materials (stickers) are displayed, and fostering positive relationships with restaurant staff and management. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys being out and about, is a great communicator, and takes pride in seeing a project through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematically visit partner restaurants across various districts as per a pre-planned schedule.
  • Verify and replace branding stickers at entrances to ensure visibility and a professional appearance.
  • Engage courteously with staff to build relationships; address any missing or misaligned stickers with the responsible person.
  • Assist with new sticker placements to meet branding guidelines.
  • Document vendor concerns and escalate issues to the operations team.
  • Identify potential expansion opportunities by observing high-traffic areas and new developments.
  • Collect current menus for pricing analysis and market research.
  • Promote the referral program and inform partners about available benefits.
  • Maintain a detailed log of visits, tracking restaurant statuses, and report updates to the operations/marketing team.
  • Act as a brand champion, representing foodpanda with professionalism and friendliness.

Qualifications

  • An outgoing, confident, and exceptionally friendly personality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be comfortable initiating conversations with strangers and communicating clearly and politely.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to meticulously manage a checklist of locations.
  • A persistent and positive attitude, able to handle potential objections gracefully.
  • Must be physically active and comfortable with extensive walking.
  • Fluency in Cantonese is required. Proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, field marketing, sales, promoter or as a brand ambassador is highly desirable
