Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our pre-opening team to oversee and direct the front of house team of the outlet. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and Chef to manage restaurant operations, ensuring that the high standards required by both the hotel and guests are exceeded. As a hands-on, experienced hospitality professional, you will combine the business acumen necessary for running a successful operation with the personality to be the face of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and directing all aspects of restaurant operations, taking full responsibility for the front of house.
- Demonstrating authoritative leadership with the gravitas to oversee all restaurant functions.
- Bringing a wealth of experience across different outlets, driving and motivating staff to provide guests with the ultimate dining experience.
- Multitasking and organizing with excellence, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding communication.
- Being commercially astute with an understanding of financial requirements to successfully open an outlet.
- Developing the team to consistently deliver 5-star service.
- Inspiring the team to execute the restaurant vision on a day-to-day basis by leading from the front.
- Working closely with other departments to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
- Handling guest feedback and resolve potential issues to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as successful Restaurant Manager within a luxury hotel.
- Previous experience in Michelin restaurants is a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent understanding of food and beverage trends and management.
- Have strong wine knowledge, ideally with WSET Level 2/3 certification or similar.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
- Proficiency in F&B management software (Shiji POS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
