The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and ensuring an efficient, customer-focused environment. This role includes leading and developing the service team, maintaining operational standards, and supporting management initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in service quality, staff performance, and overall customer experience. They will also assist in maintaining controls and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Manage, train, and motivate front-of-house staff.
  • Maintain high customer service standards and manage escalations.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, attendance, and performance.
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and operational standards are consistently met.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination.
  • Conduct cash-ups and manage daily operational controls.
  • Handle opening and closing procedures.
  • Support senior management in implementing service improvements.
  • Monitor service flow and ensure effective floor management.
  • Uphold company policies and operational processes.
  • Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and floor teams.
  • Contribute to a well-organised and professional work environment.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transport is essential.
  • Ability to work Monday to Sunday (with 1/2 days off per week).
Remuneration
R13 000 - R15 000
