We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at an exciting fine dining restaurant located in the vibrant Heaton area of Newcastle upon Tyne. Known for its innovative approach to modern British cuisine, the restaurant offers a seasonal set menu that showcases the best local and sustainable ingredients, paired with a unique and creative dining experience.
Our venue is a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant, renowned for its creative and seasonal menus. The restaurant focuses on making high-end dining accessible to a wide audience, offering a carefully curated six-course tasting menu. Led by an experienced chef-owner with a background in some of the region’s most esteemed kitchens, the restaurant has quickly gained a reputation for exceptional service, innovative dishes, and a commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing daily front-of-house operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Leading, training, and motivating a dedicated team of front-of-house staff
Managing reservations and maintaining a welcoming, efficient, and professional atmosphere
Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless service
Handling customer feedback, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
Upholding the high standards set by the chef-owner and the team
We are looking for a candidate who is:
Experienced in managing fine dining or high-quality restaurants
Passionate about delivering an outstanding dining experience
A strong leader with excellent communication and team management skills
Knowledgeable about sustainable and ethical sourcing practices
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
