Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a Purchase Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our organization's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their purchasing needs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a managerial role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and advanced spreadsheet applications
• In-depth understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
• Experience in budget management and cost optimization
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to procurement
