Our client is a fast-growing construction company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

  1. Strategic Planning & Project Oversight

  • Formulate a detailed project management plan and execution timeline, ensuring all project phases and components are clearly defined and regularly updated.

  • Manage the full project lifecycle encompassing feasibility analysis, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk assessment.

  • Guarantee compliance of all projects with applicable local regulations, safety protocols, and sustainability standards.

  1. Project Execution & Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with the Technical Department to establish and maintain the Master Construction Schedule for all project components and packages.

  • Track and evaluate contractors’ construction progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; lead the documentation and enforcement of penalty measures for contractors failing to meet progress milestones.

  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to ensure project execution aligns with the set schedule, including oversight of legal authorizations, design development, bidding procedures, and construction activities.

  • Ensure timely project completion in accordance with the initial schedule or any approved updates sanctioned by the Executive Board.

  • Provide regular reports to the Executive Board regarding the initial schedule, analyze any factors impacting progress and quality, and propose remedial actions to mitigate delays.

  1. Site Management

  • Foster and maintain productive relationships with local government authorities to ensure construction activities comply with regulations and are carried out safely and efficiently.

  • Oversee project documentation management and facilitate both internal and official governmental inspections.

  1. Budget & Cost Management

  • Work closely with the Finance/Investment Department and relevant teams within the Project Management Division to monitor budget adherence, reporting compliance with budgets and cost estimates approved by the Executive Board for each project phase or package.

  • Recommend budget revisions for construction activities where necessary, reflecting actual project conditions or new directives from the Executive Board.

  • Participate in contractor evaluation and selection processes, ensuring contract terms effectively minimize financial risks and legal vulnerabilities in project agreements.

  1. Human Resource & Administrative Management on Site

  • Develop workforce planning and operational budgets, maintaining compliance with approved allocations.

  • Coordinate with the Human Resources Department to support recruitment efforts for project team members.

  • Oversee training programs and professional development initiatives for the team, ensuring the preparation of periodic training documentation.

  • Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and regulations at construction sites.

  1. Other Duties

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by company executives.



Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in project management, including at least 3 years in a comparable role, demonstrating a proven history of successfully leading large-scale hotel or resort developments.

  • Comprehensive understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Exceptional leadership abilities, coupled with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
