Job Description

  • Ensure duties are performed as per HACCP guidelines
  • Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.
  • Prepare Requisition for all goods needed.
  • Prepare and set up the food for a la carte or buffet as per hotel standards
  • Maintain and establish standardized quality of food according to SOPs and Menus
  • Brief instructions accordingly
  • Follow up banquet event order
  • Establish and maintains effective relation with all the employees.
  • Coordinates functions and activities with other F&B departments.

Qualifications

  • Culinary training and certification NTC 3 Food Production (Pastry) or equivalent as a minimum
  • Professional experience in luxury hospitality of at least two years as Assistant Pastry Cook
  • Holder of valid Food Handler Certificate
  • Good cooking foundation
  • Comfortable with both a la carte and buffet style set up, sense of creativity.
  • Can work under pressure & adaptable at all times
  • Willing to work in shifts or extended number of hours, can work well under pressure, proactive and a team player
  • Attention to detail and quality, guest oriented mindset
