Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef with a strong background in cake-making and a variety of pastry techniques. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, artistic, and comfortable working independently or within a team to produce consistent, high-quality desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, bake, and decorate cakes for weddings, birthdays, and special events
• Prepare a variety of pastries, tarts, cookies, plated desserts, and breakfast items
• Develop seasonal and event-specific dessert menus
• Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed
• Collaborate with the culinary team to meet event timelines and expectations
• Manage pastry inventory and communicate ordering needs

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a pastry chef or baker with cake-decorating skills
• Proficient in fondant, buttercream, piping, and tiered cake assembly
• Knowledge of French-style and modern pastries a plus
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Passion for pastry arts and a high attention to detail
• Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
