Job Description
Our client is a leading manufacturer of snacks, cereals, and convenience foods under a globally recognized brand.
Responsibilities:
- Lead packaging development and improvement projects to support product launches and cost-saving goals.
- Review past performance and quality data to find areas for improvement.
- Look for ways to reduce packaging costs by optimizing design and materials.
- Support the sustainability goals for packaging, especially looking ahead to targets.
- Ensure smooth handover of new packaging to the supply chain, including documentation and staff training.
- Create and maintain packaging specifications to meet legal food safety requirements.
- Review and approve packaging artwork, including flexibles, cartons, and cases.
- Guide and support junior team members to help them grow in their roles.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
- More than 8 years of packaging development experience in food or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials and production line compatibility.
- Proven experience in cost-saving, innovation, and sustainability projects.
- Skilled in specs, artwork review, and product launches with good English communication.
